Firestopping Manager
Location: Luton (must be willing to travel to other project sites as required)
We are seeking an experienced Firestopping Manager to oversee and manage passive fire protection and Fire door works on a long-term Multiple project. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in firestopping, site management, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all firestopping installations on site.
- Carry out site surveys and inspections to ensure work complies with specifications and fire safety standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor progress, maintain site records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve any technical or site-related issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing firestopping or passive fire protection projects.
- Strong knowledge of firestopping systems, installation methods, and industry regulations.
- Ability to conduct surveys and accurately interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites when required.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold one or more of the following:
- CSCS Card
- NVQ Level 2 (relevant trade qualification)
- SSSTS
- SMSTS
- FIRAS certification (preferred)
Job Details
- Location: North London , North home counties Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire (Luton)
- Hours: 8 hours per day
- Working Days: Monday to Friday

- Duration: Long-term contract – 12 months or more
