Fitter in Morley, West Yorkshire

£14.00 - £18.00 per hour DOE, Days, Early Finish Friday, Excellent benefits after probation: 33 days, holiday, Life assurance, private medical care.

A leading multinational manufacturing company is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical / Vehicle Fitter to join its growing production team in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent days-based role with a well-established business offering excellent training, working conditions and long-term career prospects.

Working within a modern, clean and highly organised workshop environment, you will be responsible for fitting specialist mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to specialist vehicles.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two builds are the same.

As a Mechanical / Vehicle Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and assembling mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on specialist vehicles.
• Fitting and assembling a variety of mechanical components and systems to meet customer requirements and build specifications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and build instructions.
• Working closely with Engineering and Production teams to ensure quality standards and deadlines are achieved.
• Completing quality checks, build documentation and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.

• Mechanical fitting or assembly experience.
• Be able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Possess strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Take pride in producing high-quality work.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
