👷‍♀️ FITTER - SUBSTATION PROJECT ⚡

We are currently recruiting experienced Fitters to support ongoing substation construction and earthing works across multiple sites in Argyll. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with consistent work available.

📍 Location: Argyll, Scotland (Multiple Substation Projects)
👷‍♂️ Role: Fitter
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📅 Duration: Long Term
⏳ Hours: 10 Hours Per Day
💰 Rate: CIS

Key Responsibilities
✅ Installation of below-ground earthing systems.
✅ Running out and installing copper tape around foundation bases.
✅ Cutting, cleating and securing copper tape.
✅ Brazing earthing tape and connections.
✅ Testing earthing tapes and installations.
✅ Installation of earthing systems within GIS halls, cable trenches and perimeter areas.
✅ Installing earth spurs to metal structures.
✅ Earthing works within GIS Battery, LVAC, Relay, Telecom, Permit and Welfare rooms.
✅ Working from site drawings and specifications.
✅ Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship at all times.

Requirements
✅ Previous experience within substations, power transmission, utilities or heavy industrial projects.
✅ Experience installing earthing systems and copper tape.
✅ Valid Shea Power Ticket.
✅ Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
