Mechanical Fitter 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent night shift basis.

Location: Doncaster DN11 
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotational shift days and afternoons 

6am -2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm 

Salary:  £ 20.96 / hr   (£43,590  per annum) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble and fit mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery.

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical manuals.

• Carry out electrical wiring, connections and basic fault finding.

• Assemble, align and adjust mechanical components.

• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Carry out inspections and testing of equipment.

• Identify potential faults and report issues to the appropriate person.

• Work alongside other engineers and maintenance personnel to minimise equipment downtime.

• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and work carried out.

• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
