Fitting Shop Supervisor

My clients are well established and very busy. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fitting Shop Supervisor to join an expanding engineering company. Experienced engineer with a background in heavy Engineering and leading a team.   To lead a fitting shop, allocate work and hit deadlines ensuring 5S and health and safety are adhered too.  

Start salary upto around £40k DOE

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.

8am - 1pm on Fridays. 

Free site parking,

Plenty of overtime is available

They have on-site parking, free tea/coffee supplies, Workwear/Uniform, Hearing & Eye Tests paid for, WeCare Support system.

22 days holiday + stats

Pension with 3% employer contribution

The Role

You will be an experienced engineer with a background in heavy Engineering and leading a team. To lead a fitting shop, allocate work and hit deadlines ensuring 5S and health and safety are adhered too. To lead problem solving solution. 

Qualifications/skills:

Experience of working in a factory environment preferably on CNC Machines, Lathes and Grinding Equipment

Have experience in heavy engineering background

Have 5S lean manufacturing and health and safety experience
