Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, a leading player in the Manufacturing & Production industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fleet Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Crewe on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for managing the Electrical Engineering vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal usage, maintenance, and compliance with all relevant standards.
Position: Fleet Coordinator
Contract Type: Temporary (3 months) possible extensions
Working Pattern: Full Time. 35 hours per week onsite Monday - Friday
Driving Required: Yes
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to define vehicle requirements for various projects. Your expertise will ensure that the specifications align with the overall business plan.
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day usage of the vehicle fleet, maximising utilisation and optimising transport needs. You'll play a key role in managing vehicle security and maintenance to ensure road worthiness.
Project Development Updates:
- Stay attuned to project developments by managing updates to the fleet in line with integration level plans. Your ability to adapt will be vital as projects evolve.
Workshop Facility Oversight:
- Manage the Workshop Facility, including the booking of bays and ramps. Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Establish effective communication channels with Engineering Teams and other departments to understand interdependence's and enhance vehicle functionality.
Experience:
- A solid understanding of vehicle road worthiness and legislative requirements, along with knowledge of electrical development methods and Bentley integration planning.
Skills:
- Strong communication abilities to engage with various levels across the organisation.
- The capability to influence colleagues and solve cross-functional problems is essential.
Competencies:
- Understanding financial limits within your area of responsibility, along with the ability to conduct risk assessments in line with Health and Safety policies.
