Duties as a Fleet Vehicle Technician Include:
  • Servicing and repairing a fleet of converted vans, support vehicles, and grey fleet vehicles, including models such as Skoda Kodiak, Mercedes Vito, MAN TGE, VW Crafter, and Fiat Ducato
  • Conducting pre-MOT inspections and diagnostics on vehicles with known faults
  • Maintaining specialist equipment and telematics systems
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols and ensuring quality standards
  • Working within a rota covering early mornings, late evenings, and weekends across 365 days
  • Utilizing technical expertise to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle faults in a fast-paced environment
Requirements for the Fleet Vehicle Technician Include:
  • Level 2 automotive qualification accepted; Level 3 qualification preferred
  • 3 to 5 years’ workshop experience, with a focus on fleet or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of various vehicle systems
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
