Flexi/ Bendi Forklift Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced  Flexi Forklift Operative to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming goods, operating flexible forklift equipment, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. The position offers an excellent opportunity for those with warehouse experience looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Efficiently load and unload goods using forklift and manual handling techniques
• Operate forklift trucks safely and effectively, including flexi forklift equipment where applicable
• Manage goods receipt processes, ensuring accurate recording within the warehouse management system
• Assist with materials handling, storage, and inventory control to optimise space utilisation
• Perform basic equipment repair or report faults promptly to minimise downtime
• Support shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch of orders
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Conduct regular checks on mechanical equipment to ensure safety and operational standards are met
• Assist with stock rotation and cycle counting as required
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times during operations

Experience

• Previous warehouse management system (WMS) experience is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience operating forklift trucks, particularly flexi forklifts, in a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management
• Mechanical knowledge or basic equipment repair skills are advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform basic maths calculations for stock counts and measurements
• Physical ability to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but training will be provided for specific equipment use
• A valid forklift licence is essential for this role

Salary & Terms

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm
• £13.00 per hour
• Temp to perm with immediate start
