LOCATION: BUCKINGHAMSHIRE - COMMUTABLE FROM HERTS, BEDS & NORTHANTS

Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating every other week.

As a Flexographic Printer, you will be an essential part of the production team, responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed labels used in retail packaging. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and commitment to quality will ensure that products meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and maintain flexographic printing machines in line with production schedules.
  • Prepare printing plates and perform colour matching to ensure accurate print quality.
  • Monitor print runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent quality.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following health and safety guidelines.
  • Record production data accurately and report any machine faults or maintenance needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience operating flexographic printing machinery, ideally within the retail packaging or labelling sector.
  • Good understanding of print processes, colour theory, and quality control standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine maintenance.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required to meet production demands.
