FLT and Warehouse Operative

Location: Penistone, South Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative to join their busy operations team based in Penistone. This is a hands-on role combining forklift operation with general warehouse and yard responsibilities, offering variety and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive and established team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently
• Move, store and organise stock within the warehouse and yard
• Carry out general warehouse and yard duties as required
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Candidate Requirements

• Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse and/or yard experience
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
