FLT Counterbalance Driver (Days)– Birmingham - B37

We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy distribution centre based in Birmingham, B37.

Day shift:
  • Tuesday to Friday
  • 08:30 – 19:00
  • £13.33 per hour
The Role As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties may include:
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Moving stock and pallets around the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Transporting goods to designated areas
  • Supporting with general warehouse duties where required
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Keeping the working area clean and organised
Requirements To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Hold a valid and in-date RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT accreditation
  • Have 2 years experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
  • Be reliable and able to commit to the chosen shift pattern
  • Have a good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Inductions will be taking place on Friday morning, so successful candidates must be available to attend.
