Location: Sheffield, S9
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:15am–4:15pm
Pay: £16 Per hour
Contract: 12-week temporary contract with a view to permanent employment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy industrial operation based in Tinsley, S9
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift and feeding machinery with materials, working within a fast-paced metal-processing environment.
The Role
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Feeding machines with the required materials
- Moving and handling metal products around the site
- Loading and unloading materials when required
- Supporting the production team to keep machinery running efficiently
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Completing basic measurements and calculations as required
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience
- Experience working within the metals industry
- Ideally, experience with processes such as metal crushing, turning or similar
- A good level of maths and numeracy
- Good attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- The ability to work safely and as part of a team
- A valid counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
