FLT Warehouse Operative

Ideal Recruit are looking for an organised and reliable FLT Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, loading and unloading vehicles and containers, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean and well organised.

Pay and shift:

09:00-17:00

£14.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities

* Driving a forklift safely and efficiently.
* Preparing and picking daily customer orders.
* Printing and processing daily order paperwork.
* Packing customer orders securely onto pallets.
* Loading artic wagons.
* Unloading 40ft High Cube (40HC) containers via a loading ramp.
* Assisting with general loading and unloading duties.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
* Following all health and safety procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

* Hold a valid forklift truck (FLT) licence (preferred).
* Have previous warehouse experience.
* Be organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
* Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* Be reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
