FLT Counterbalance Driver

Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Shifts: Ad hoc, 1–2 days per week, Between Monday to Wednesday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
- Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
- Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
- Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures.
- Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
- Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
- Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Shifts: Ad hoc, typically 1–2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday.
Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
Before You StartAll successful candidates will be required to complete an FLT assessment and site induction before starting work.
