FLT Driver Needed in Chelmsford!

Our client, based in Chelmsford are looking for a forklift driver, Monday to Friday ongoing role, potential of temp to perm.

Shift times will vary from 07:30-16:30 (involves a 2 x 20 min breaks - paid & 30 min lunch break -upaid) - Monday to Friday *NO WEEKENDS*

Location: Chelmsford (CM3)

Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour

Client has requested that you have your own transport due to the Rural location of the site, packing on site.

Job Role: (Shown below)

· Driving the fork truck efficiently in a safe manner - Unloading HGV vehicles and containers then stacking the pallets in the warehouses

• Accuracy is imperative - ensuring the correct product is picked and double-checked.
• Will need to write out order numbers as you go to check stock
• Maintaining housekeeping as you go > replenishing the pick face (ensuring product is stacked in date order for rotation of stock), removing plastic from full pallets once replenished, keeping all waste in one area ready for disposal at the end of the day
• Ensuring order additions are completed before the end of the shift and communicating with the loader
• Communicating with the office
• Maintenance of the yard area - stowing pallets in their designated area, clearing of packaging waste etc.
• Ad hoc duties
