An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative who holds a nationally accredited FLT Counterbalance & FLT Reach Certificate and a full clean UK Driving licence to join my clients team in Daventry. 

About the Job:                                    

Responsibilities:    

  • Use counterbalance FLT and Reach Truck for loading/ unloading vehicles/stores for automotive manufacturer
  • Book in items received using a computer system
  • Pick items from stores according to kitting list for fabricators, welders etc.
  • Pack completed items into bespoke cartons following instructions sheets and prepare for despatch to customer
  • General stores functions
  • Cover van driving when required
  • Help keep your workplace safe, clean and tidy
  • Work with rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover
  • Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements
  • Any other reasonable requests should be carried out to the best of your ability

Person Specification

  • Good literacy and numeracy
  • Must have accredited counterbalance FLT training certificate
  • Must have accredited Reach FLT training certificate
  • Must have a full driving license
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have experience in similar role, ideally in manufacturing
  • Experience of MRP system
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Must be a strong team player with a “Can Do” attitude
  • Must be able to work diligently and with minimum of supervision
  • May be required to work additional hours to meet workload
  • Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations
