Forklift Driver

We are recruiting for Forklift Drivers to join our team at a leading warehousing and logistics company based in Chesterfield. This role involves working at heights in a modern warehouse environment on a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern.

The Role – What You'll Be Doing

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse. Duties include:

• Operating forklift trucks to move, load, and unload goods safely
• Working at heights to pick orders and retrieve stock from high-level racking using HLOP (High-Level Order Picker) trucks
• Picking customer orders whilst operating the HLOP truck
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Transporting pallets and stock throughout the warehouse
• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Undertaking full training to operate HLOP trucks

About You

We're looking for reliable and motivated candidates who:

• Have previous warehouse or forklift experience (Licenses preferred but not essential)
• Are comfortable working at heights or willing to do so
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Are willing to complete training on HLOP (High-Level Order Picker) trucks

Shift Pattern

• 6:00pm – 6:00am
• 4 on / 4 off

Pay Rate

• Nights: £14.46 per hour
