Reach FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Reach FLT Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. In this role, you'll be key to our warehouse operations, safely moving materials using a Reach Forklift Truck and performing various general warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a Reach Forklift Truck for loading, unloading, and moving goods within the warehouse.

 Accurately stack and retrieve pallets from high racking locations.

Conduct daily pre-shift checks on the FLT and report any maintenance issues.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries.

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and prepare them for dispatch.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.

 Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid and in-date Reach Forklift Truck license/certification.

Proven experience operating a Reach FLT in a busy warehouse environment.

Solid understanding of general warehouse practices and safety procedures.

Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving items when necessary.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience with other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) like Counterbalance or PPT.

This is a long term temporary position with an opportunity to go perm.
