FLT/Warehouse Operative

Our client, a leading organisation in the logistics sector, is looking for a dedicated and skilled FLT/Warehouse Operative to join their team in the Crewe area.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a FLT/Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our client's warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

Forklift Operation: Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (C/B FLT) to move and organise stock.
Booking in Stock: Accurately processing incoming stock and ensuring it is correctly logged into the system.
Stock Management: Dealing with existing stock, ensuring it is maintained and organised efficiently.
Goods In: Overseeing the goods-in process to guarantee that all items are received and stored correctly.
Picking Orders: Accurately picking items from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
Local Deliveries: Driving the company van for local drops and collections around the Crewe area, ensuring timely and professional service.

What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
Previous experience in warehouse operations and stock management.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
A full UK driving licence (for van deliveries).

Contract Type: Permanent position.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary £28,000
