The Opportunity
As a Flushing Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-commission cleaning, flushing and water treatment services across a variety of commercial and industrial projects nationwide.

You'll work with experienced colleagues on technically challenging projects, using industry-leading equipment and processes to ensure systems are commissioned safely, efficiently and in full compliance with industry standards.

No two days are the same. One week you could be supporting the delivery of a major data centre project, the next carrying out chemical cleaning and system treatment works for a hospital or commercial development.

You'll have the autonomy to do what you do best, whilst benefiting from the support of a knowledgeable management team that's committed to your development.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-commission cleaning of heating and chilled water systems
• Power flushing, back flushing and chemical cleaning activities
• Chemical dosing and closed-system water treatment
• Installation and operation of flushing rigs, pumps and filtration equipment
• Collection and recording of system data and test results
• Maintenance of equipment, vehicles and site documentation
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards
• Working closely with colleagues, clients and site teams to deliver exceptional service

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Experience within flushing, water treatment or building services
• Knowledge of pre-commission cleaning and closed-system treatment
• Experience operating flushing and filtration equipment
• Good understanding of heating and chilled water systems
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Desirable

• Experience with conventional and CPC filtration flushing
• Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidance
• Legionella Risk Assessor qualification
• Water hygiene experience
• Microsoft Office skills
