A leading Facilities Management (FM) provider are looking to recruit an established Asset Manager to join their flagship Government Account.

This is a comprehensive Hard and Soft FM contract across a client estate in the 100s of buildings, with major M&E and Building Fabric maintenance works delivered across a extensive Asset list.

In this role, working as part of the Account's Asset Management team and reporting into the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for developing and managing the asset management framework, for influencing and developing the client’s approach that enables the best output of their M&E and Fabric assets of their estate, operationally, tactically and strategically.

The role requires expert working knowledge of asset management and its application in a TFM environment, supported by working knowledge and experience in technical services delivery.

Actions will include:

  • Own and deliver the asset management objectives defined within the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), ensuring alignment to client strategy, estate complexity, and contractual requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Asset Management System Framework (AMSF), ensuring consistent application across the account
  • Embed AMSF Business Process Standards and standard ways of working across technical, operational, and support teams
  • Provide robust financial and asset intelligence, including Financial Management Reporting (FMR), to support informed, risk-based investment decision-making
  • Translate asset condition, performance, risk, and lifecycle information into clear strategic and financial insight for stakeholders
  • Support lifecycle planning, asset investment planning, and prioritisation activities across M&E and Fabric assets
  • Act as the focal point for asset management governance, assurance, and audit readiness, including alignment to ISO 55001 principles
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Asset Management System through performance monitoring, management review, and improvement actions

We need from you:

  • Expert working knowledge of asset management principles and their application within a Total Facilities Management (TFM) or large estate environment
  • Experience of SAMP development and delivery to ISO 55001
