Part time (14.8 hours per week) / September 2026 start
You will play a key role in delivering and developing specialist programmes, including:
- Level 5 Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection
- Level 6 Higher Diploma in Food Control (supporting delivery)
- Development of a new Level 4 pathway to support progression into Level 5
What we are looking for:
- You will have current or recent experience in Environmental Health, ideally within food safety or regulatory services
- A strong understanding of food premises inspection and enforcement is essential
- Passion for teaching, learning, and supporting learners into professional roles
- Relevant professional qualification (CIEH-accredited or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Duties/responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, innovative teaching across Environmental Health programmes
- Support learners in developing both technical knowledge and practical inspection skills
- Contribute to curriculum development, including new programme design
- Prepare learners for professional practice in food safety and regulatory enforcement
- Bring current industry experience into the classroom to enhance learning
