Food Production Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting Line Operatives to join an established food production business based in Middleton on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidates.

Our client operates a busy production facility, requiring physically capable individuals to support packing and warehouse operations across a Monday to Friday working week with an early Friday finish.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment
• Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 2pm
• £12.71 per hour - paid weekly

Please note: This role involves heavy lifting throughout the shift.

As a Line Operative, your duties will include:

• Boxing products at the end of the production line
• Stacking and organising the warehouse ready for delivery
• Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety standards throughout the shift

To be considered as a Line Operative, you will need:

• Good physical strength and fitness - heavy lifting is a core requirement of this role
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is advantageous
• Strong teamworking skills and the ability to work at pace
• A reliable, hardworking approach to work
