Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 7.00am - 4.30pm
Breaks: Two unpaid 30-minute breaks per day
We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing food manufacturing company producing high-quality liquid food products for the catering and foodservice industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy production team where you'll be involved in the manufacture, blending and packaging of food products. The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 6 months for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Production Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing, blending and processing liquid food products in accordance with production schedules and recipes.
- Operating production machinery and carrying out basic fault finding where required.
- Recording production data accurately.
- Carrying out Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures on production lines and process tanks.
- Packaging and preparing finished products ready for the warehouse.
- Cleaning machinery and production areas to food manufacturing standards.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and ensuring the department remains audit-ready.
- Following food safety, hygiene and quality procedures at all times.
- Working to production targets and departmental KPIs.
- Supporting other production activities as required.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience within a liquid processing environment would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
- The ability to read and follow production schedules and recipes.
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- A proactive approach with good problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to lift up to 25kg on a repetitive basis when required.
- Own transport, due to the location.
