This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Technology Teacher, or an ambitious teacher looking for their next role, to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on students' learning and development.
The Role
Teach Food Technology across the secondary age range.
Plan and deliver engaging, practical and creative lessons.
Inspire students to develop their culinary, nutritional and food preparation skills.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management.
Support students of varying abilities and encourage their confidence and progression.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a positive school environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passionate about Food Technology and committed to helping students succeed.
Able to start ASAP.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support with the DBS process may be available.
