Overview
An established and fast‑paced production environment is seeking to strengthen its quality and compliance capability. This opportunity sits within a business where structured processes, attention to detail and continuous improvement are central to operational performance.

Role Summary
The successful candidate will support the ongoing management and development of quality and compliance systems across the site. Working alongside operational and support functions, the role will focus on maintaining standards, supporting audits and ensuring processes align with internal expectations and external frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day administration and upkeep of the quality management system, ensuring documentation remains accurate, controlled and current
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with recognised standards and internal protocols
  • Co‑ordinate internal audit activities and provide support during external reviews, visits and assessments
  • Monitor and manage non‑conformance processes, including investigations, root cause analysis and timely close‑out of actions
  • Support supplier on‑boarding, monitoring processes and incoming material compliance activities
  • Assist with the maintenance of product documentation, including specifications and labelling checks
  • Track, analyse and report on quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Support complaint handling processes, liaising across teams to drive effective resolution and preventative actions
  • Encourage and promote good operational practice and awareness of quality standards across the wider team

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience within a quality, compliance or technical function in a regulated or process‑driven environment
  • Working knowledge of structured quality systems and risk‑based frameworks (e.g. HACCP, or equivalent)
  • Experience maintaining systems and controlled documentation
  • Strong organisational ability with a high level of attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working across multiple teams
  • Proactive, methodical and solutions‑focused approach
  • A relevant qualification in a technical or scientific discipline would be advantageous
  • Competent in the use of standard business systems and software
