The Role

• Teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements.
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing timely feedback.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the department.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is ideally looking for an experienced Food Technology Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Food Technology and/or Hospitality & Catering at secondary level.
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism.
• Can build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Is committed to raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
