Working Foreman – Uckfield

Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Position: Working Foreman
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Duration: Long-term project

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman for a major project in Uckfield.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience running a site team and must hold SSSTS or SMSTS. We are particularly interested in a Working Foreman who can bring and manage their own experienced gang of lads.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman / Site Supervisor
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
• Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements
• Able to read and work from drawings and specifications
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Reliable and able to manage a team effectively
• Ability to bring your own gang of experienced workers is highly desirable
• Relevant construction experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating your gang on site
• Managing day-to-day works and ensuring programmes are met
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety
• Coordinating with Site Management and other trades
• Ensuring work is completed to the required specification and quality
• Leading by example as a hands-on Working Foreman
