Are you an experienced forklift driver looking for a new challenge?

Arbor Forest Products is looking for a Forklift Driver to join our busy and established team at our New Holland site.

Don't worry if you haven't driven a Side Loader before. We are happy to provide full Side Loader training for candidates who hold a valid Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi or Combi licence and are eager to learn.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am to 3:00pm
• 39 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our Yard Operations team, you'll play an important role in ensuring timber products are safely stored, moved and managed throughout our site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a Side Loader Forklift and other material handling equipment where authorised.
• Allocating and storing newly produced stock from the sawmill.
• Communicating effectively with Sawmill Drivers and Supervisors.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects.
• Storing and rotating stock correctly using the Proteus WMS scanner system.
• Conducting weekly stock checks.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the yard.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Following company procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Providing support across other yard operations when required, including holiday and sickness cover.

What We're Looking For

Essential

 Valid Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi, Combi or Side Loader Forklift Licence

 Good awareness of health and safety practices

 Basic literacy and numeracy skills

 Good spatial awareness

 Basic IT skills

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

 Previous Side Loader experience

 Experience working with timber, MDF, composite decking or similar products

Full Training Available

We believe attitude is just as important as experience. If you're an experienced forklift driver with a positive work ethic, willingness to learn and a strong focus on safety, we'll provide Side Loader training and support to help you succeed in the role.
