We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to work on-site in the Shetland Islands, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual looking for an ongoing opportunity within the construction sector, offering a competitive rate of £24.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently, moving and handling materials around the site, loading and unloading deliveries, and ensuring materials are stored and transported safely.

The role will require the successful candidate to follow site procedures, carry out daily equipment checks, communicate effectively with site personnel, and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

IMPORTANT: We are specifically looking for candidates who are already local to the Shetland Islands. Applicants must be based locally and able to travel to and from site reliably. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates who would need to relocate or travel from mainland Scotland for this opportunity.

Candidates must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card displaying the CSCS logo, with the relevant forklift category. Please only apply if you meet the essential requirements.

• Relevant forklift category and operating qualification - essential

• Must be based locally in the Shetland Islands - essential

• Previous forklift operating experience within construction preferred

• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures

• Ability to load, unload and move materials safely

• Experience handling deliveries and transporting materials around site

• Ability to carry out daily forklift safety checks

• Good communication skills when dealing with site personnel

• Ability to follow site rules, instructions and safety procedures

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Strong awareness of site safety and potential hazards

• Right to work in the UK

• Available to start ASAP

• £24.00 per hour
