Forklift Driver

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our established client, based in Chessington.

Please note - to be suitable for this role you will also need a full UK Driving license, as you may have to drive the Forklift across a road. 

Our client is a respected name in the catering and hospitality supply industry, delivering high-quality equipment to restaurants, bars, and venues across London and the South of England.

About the Role -

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Picking and packing catering and hospitality equipment
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• General warehouse duties
• Heavy lifting and manual handling

This is a hands-on role suited to someone physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements-

To be considered, you must:

• Have previous warehouse experience
• Hold a valid forklift license
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Be able to speak and understand English
• Be punctual, professional, and well-mannered
• Be able to follow instructions accurately
• Be available for an in-person interview in Chessington
• Be able to commute to Chessington easily

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 – 16:00 - Shifts are typically 8.5 hours per day
• £14.00 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
• Temp to perm position for the right person

This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent after a successful probation period.
