Forklift Counterbalance Operator – Bilston

Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Operators to join a growing team based in Bilston (WV14).

This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering the potential for a long-term position within a successful and expanding company.

*** Important: A valid in-date, accredited Forklift Counterbalance licence is essential along with previous experience working with large lengths of Steel and Operating Overhead Cranes ***

Key Duties:

• Operate Counterbalance FLT and overhead crane
• Manage Goods In/Out processes
• Supporting the Factory with general Factory duties 
• Support production with material movement
• Maintain stock records using MRP system
• General admin and housekeeping duties
• Work closely with production and other departments

Position 1 – Day Shifts:

• Hours of Work - Monday to Thursday: 07:00–15:45 & Friday: 07:00–13:00
• Pay - £14.38 per hour

OR

Position 2 – Afternoon Shifts:

• Hours of Work - Monday to Thursday: 15:30 till 01:15
• Pay - £14.38 per hour + £25.00 daily shift allowance

Requirements:

• FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date & accredited licence is required)
• Overhead crane experience (required)
• Experience handling large lengths of steel
• MRP / inventory knowledge
• Manufacturing background
• Basic IT skills
