Location: Glasgow
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to long/short term machines and customers owned equipment. Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism are met at all times and to maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment (MHE / plant)
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site
- Complete job sheets, service reports, and tablet-based documentation
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and van stock
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
- Identify additional service or repair opportunities
- Participate in standby/on-call rota
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Engineer / Plant Engineer / HGV Technician or similar
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment (highly desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
