Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading forklift dealer who are looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their team in Corby.

We’re looking for a skilled forklift engineer with a background in FLT engineering, who is confident working independently across a variety of forklift truck makes and models. This is a hands-on workshop position, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding, repairs and more involved mechanical work.

The Role:
  • Workshop-based maintenance, servicing and repairs of forklift trucks
  • Working on a variety of makes and models
  • Independently stripping down and rebuilding forklift trucks
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Working to a high standard with a focus on quality and reliability
The Person:
  • Ideally 3-5 years' FLT engineering experience
  • Strong mechanical engineering background
  • Confident independently stripping down and rebuilding FLTs
  • Experience across a range of forklift makes and models
  • Able to diagnose faults and complete repairs without constant supervision
Package:
  • £34,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Small company van or van allowance
  • 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays
  • Long-term opportunity with an established main dealer group
