Forklift Truck Driver

Our manufacturing client based in West Dunbartonshire is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver. This is a temporary role which is expected to last until the end of December.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load and unload materials, ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within our facility, contributing to overall productivity and efficiency.

Duties
Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
Move materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement in designated areas.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all goods are accounted for and properly documented. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.

Experience
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential
FMCG Experience and loading within this sector is essential

This role is working on a rotation pattern of early and back shift Monday to Thursday.
