Foundry Operator in Wednesbury, Sandwell

Job description:

Industrial Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Foundry Operative for their Iron Castings Foundry Client in the Wednesbury area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing role within a fast-paced and well-established heavy manufacturing environment.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 16:00
• Full-time, temporary ongoing with potential for permanent employment

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour starting salary

Job Duties:

• Operating Hand & Floor Standing Linishers
• Using Knock Out Machines
• Dressing, grinding, linishing, and fettling of castings
• Working with heavy engineering/manufacturing processes

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dressing, grinding, linishing, or fettling
• Heavy engineering/manufacturing or foundry background essential
• Reliable with good timekeeping and a positive work attitude
