Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a successful, growing business within the logistics and distribution sector to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a highly visible, commercially focused role where your analysis, ideas and financial insight will directly contribute to the future success of the business.
This is far more than a traditional reporting role! Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence key decisions, challenge the numbers and help shape financial strategy across the business. With plenty of variety, exposure to senior stakeholders and genuine scope to improve processes and drive performance, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to make their mark.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking an active role in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, helping shape the future direction of the business.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decisions.
- Developing financial models to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities and support future growth.
- Analysing financial results, identifying trends, challenging variances and highlighting areas for improvement.
- Supporting profitability and cost analysis, helping the business understand key performance drivers.
- Preparing management reports and presenting financial information to senior management and the Board.
- Supporting cash flow forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
- Driving improvements in reporting, systems and processes to make financial information more efficient and valuable.
- Collaborating with the wider finance team and supporting month-end activities.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified/ Finalist
- Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence building and developing financial models.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and communicating with non-finance teams.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
