Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to undertake condition surveys across educational properties in and around Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with a strong background in education sector condition surveys who is confident using GoReport and producing high-quality written survey reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out condition surveys of educational buildings and estates.
- Collect and record survey data using GoReport.
- Assess building elements and identify defects, maintenance requirements, and lifecycle considerations.
- Produce clear, accurate, and detailed written condition survey reports.
- Ensure surveys are completed in line with project requirements and agreed timescales.
- Proven experience undertaking building condition surveys.
- Previous experience surveying educational facilities (schools, colleges, academies, or universities).
- Proficient in the use of GoReport.
- Strong report-writing skills with the ability to produce comprehensive condition reports.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (current and valid).
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Outside IR35.
- £330 per day.
- Full-time commitment (5 days per week).
- Contract running through to the end of the school holiday period.
