We're Hiring: Freelance Fitout Site Manager
Location: Nationwide (H/O in Castleford)

Project Types: Fitout / M&E / Refurb
Dayrate: £280 - £300 a day
Duration: Ongoing projects (short term, ongoing)

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for multiple Freelance Fitout Site Managers for our client based in Castleford. The manager's will be overseeing leading supermarket fitout projects across the Northwest/Yorkshire & nationwide. Projects typically run 4 to 5 weeks in length before moving on to another project. Accommodation and fuel expenses are PAID.

Job responsibilities of the Freelance Fitout Site Manager:

• Manage supermarket/retail fitout projects - working with leading UK supermarkets/ retail stores
• Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Flexible with which projects you take.

Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:

• Experience working within supermarket/ retail fitout/ refurb.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Temp Work Co-Ordinator
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Must be willing to travel
• Some weekend work may be involved

Pay + Benefits:

• Day rate
• £285 to £300 per day
• Accommodation paid
• Fuel paid
• Flexible with which projects you take, days or nights etc.
• Weekly pay on a Friday
