Freelance Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a freelance Managing QS role based in Shinfield

Framework/Projects:

• Working on SSEN framework encompassing projects involving substations, overhead lines and cabling
• Schemes generally ranging from £500k - £10m, with some larger schemes - currently tendering for a £19m project 
• Framework generated £60m last year and on track for £130-140m this year 
• Projects generally run on a NEC Option A contract

Responsibilities:

• Client facing position
• Subcontract management and drafting of subcontract orders
• Change management
• Contract Admin inc EWN’s, CE’s via sitepro,
• CVR's
• Overseeing a team of 4, 2 QS and 2 AQS, reporting to the Commercial Manager

Location:

• Based in Shinfield 3 days a week with 2 days from home 

Duration:

• Minimum 6 months, with likelihood to extend further
