Freelance Project Planner

Location: Northwest

We are hiring for Freelance Project Planner's for upcoming commercial projects in the Northwest and Yorkshire. If you are a Project Planner and are/ will be looking for work, apply below and we can have a chat!

Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Project Planner:

• Develop programmes using tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Breakdown refurbishment activities (stripout, MEP upgrades, fitout, finishes).
• Plan and sequence works around handovers and occupied areas.
• Develop programmes for works in buildings.
• Update programmes weekly with site progress.
• Produce progress reports and dashboards.
• Support extensions of time submissions under NEC or JCT contracts.
• Work closely with Project Director, Project Manager, site coordinators, and commercial team.
• Attend client and subcontractor meetings.

Requirements for the Freelance Project Planner:

• Minimum 4 years previous experience within construction sector.
• Experience working on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of managing NEC or JCT contracts.
• Proficiency in programmes such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• UK driving licence is preferred.

Day rate/salary:

• Day rate flexible
• Weekly pay on a Friday
