Freelance Site Manager

Location: Edinburgh

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join an established site team on a live fit-out project in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join the project at an advanced stage and work alongside an established and experienced team. Previous fit-out experience is essential, as the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and take responsibility from day one.

The Role

• Managing the day-to-day activities on site
• Coordinating subcontractors and site trades
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality
• Working closely with the existing site management team
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety
• Liaising with the project management team, subcontractors and client representatives
• Ensuring site records, RAMS and relevant documentation are maintained

Essential Requirements

• Proven Site Management experience within fit-out
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• CSCS
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an established site team
• Experience working on live commercial fit-out projects

Location

The project is outside Edinburgh city centre, with limited parking available on site. As a result, candidates based in Edinburgh or with easy access to the project are likely to be best suited.
