Freelance Site Manager in Stevenage, Hertfordshire

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a residential UPVC window and door replacement programme in Stevenage.

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day delivery of the works, coordinating installers and subcontractors while ensuring properties are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing window and door replacement works
• Coordinating installers, subcontractors and deliveries
• Maintaining programme and productivity
• Health & safety management
• Quality inspections and snagging
• Coordinating access to residential properties
• Liaising with residents and the wider project team
• Ensuring completed properties are handed back to the required standard

Previous experience managing window and door replacement programmes within occupied residential or social housing environments would be highly advantageous.

Applicants should possess SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid alongside excellent organisational and communication skills.

The assignment will commence 4 January 2027 and run for approximately three months.
