Freelance Site Manager – Planned Maintenance

💷 £250 – £280 per day CIS

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a long-term planned maintenance contract in West London for RBKC.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a £3m p/a social housing refurbishment programme covering 17 residential blocks (sub 7 storey). The role will suit someone confident managing occupied properties and capable of running projects from validation surveys through to completion.

Scope of Works

• Window replacements and repairs
• Roofing works and associated repairs
• Concrete repairs and structural maintenance
• External refurbishment works

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across multiple occupied residential blocks
• Carry out validation surveys and oversee works through to handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour and material deliveries
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to budget
• Maintain high levels of health & safety compliance
• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings and reporting
• Liaise with residents, clients, consultants and internal teams
• Monitor quality, KPIs and site documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering planned maintenance/refurbishment projects within social housing
• Strong knowledge of roofing, windows, concrete repairs and external works
• Experience managing occupied properties
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Full UK driving licence and own car essential
