French Teacher

Part-time | Wednesday–Friday

September 5th to October 16th (first term short-term placement)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring French Teacher to join our welcoming primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate language specialist who enjoys creating engaging, memorable learning experiences for young children.

Working Wednesday to Friday, you will deliver high-quality French lessons across the primary age range, fostering pupils’ confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm for language learning.

• Deliver engaging French lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
• Develop children’s speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in French.
• Create a fun, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across different year groups and abilities.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and its vibrant community.

• Is passionate about teaching French and working with primary-aged children.
• Holds a QTS, Teacher equivalent qualification.
• Has relevant teaching experience and appropriate qualifications.

• A friendly, supportive and welcoming school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
