A leading construction business based in Birmingham is looking for a professional and welcoming Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact within a busy, professional environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
As the face of the business, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for visitors, clients, and colleagues while supporting the wider office team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing reception enquiries
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Manage visitor sign-in processes and maintain front desk security procedures
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
- Support meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are prepared for visitors
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Maintain a professional and organised reception area
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administration role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, approachable, and confident manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience within a construction, property, or professional services environment would be advantageous but not essential
