Front End Developer - React
Location: Telford/ Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £619 inside ir35
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: BPSS
We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills to join a high-profile digital programme.
You'll work closely with a UI/UX Design Lead and wider Agile delivery team, developing modern, accessible and user-focused digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality technical solutions.
- Build reusable, responsive and accessible React components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
- Collaborate with developers, designers and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience as a Front End Developer.
- Excellent JavaScript skills.
- Strong hands-on React / ReactJS experience.
- Experience working alongside UI/UX Designers or Design Leads.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Understanding of responsive and accessible web development.
Desirable
- Public sector or government experience.

- HTML / CSS.
- WCAG and web accessibility.
- Git.
