Front End Loader (FEL) Driver - Temporary Cover (12 Weeks)
📍 Location: Milton Keynes
🕒 Shift: AM Shift Only - 06:00 to 14:00
💰 Pay Rate: £16.92 per hour
📅 Duration: 12-Week Temporary Assignment
We are currently recruiting for a Front End Loader (FEL) Driver to provide short-term cover within the Mechanical Treatment Plant at Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Front End Loader to support daily waste processing operations, maintaining material flow, and ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
Requirements:
- Valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification (essential)
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, industrial, or similar environments preferred
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to commit to the AM shift pattern
Duties Include:
- Operating the FEL to move and manage waste materials
- Feeding processing equipment and maintaining waste stockpiles
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Supporting housekeeping activities and maintaining safe working areas
- Working closely with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors
