A friendly and inclusive primary school in Streatham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and supportive individual who is passionate about helping children succeed both academically and socially.
The school is particularly interested in candidates with previous school-based experience and experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support pupils across the classroom. The role will involve a combination of whole-class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and reach their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

- Delivering targeted interventions and small group work
- Providing additional support for children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents where required
- Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
