TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Swansea that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant within its Key Stage 2 / KS2 setting. The school is seeking a supportive and enthusiastic individual who can help pupils engage positively with their learning and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, 1-year temporary position with an Immediate Start. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide classroom support, deliver small group work and 1-1 support, and use appropriate behaviour management strategies while supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ALN.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
• Awareness of Additional Learning Needs / ALN
• Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
• Confidence delivering small group work and 1-1 support
• A patient, positive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
